Agricultural Services
Primary and Secondary cultivations
Focussing on a reduced tillage principle we are able to offer deep cultivations using a 3m Sumo Trio fitted with either standard Sumo legs and points or the excellent Metcalf low disturbance points, achieving a fantastic tilth efficiently. Secondary cultivations are available using a 4m spring tine, 4m combination harrow or 4m power harrow, with a 4m front press also available,
Drilling
Drilling operations are available using a 4m Kuhn combination with disc coulters and pre emergence markers, all carried out on GPS guidance. We can also advise and arrange a number of other machines for seeding including direct disc drills and more conventional tine based drills either with dutch openers or duett coulters, the ability to seed precisely in a range of conditions and situations is key to consistent results.
Crop Care
We operate a 3,600L Rau explorer trailed sprayer and Kverneland Exacta fertiliser spreader. Both machines are high spec, low weight, reliable perfromers. The sprayer features fantastically light alloy booms which help maintain accuracy in challenging conditions and the spreader features weigh cells and individually shut off to ensure we get the best possible use of expensive fertilisers. We can also provide slug pelleting and Avadex applications.
Harvest
Running older but excellently maintained harvest equipment means we can compete extremely well with others in the area. We have capacity available for the 2023 harvest season utilising a TF78 Combine paired with 250hp Case Puma and 18t bailey trailer on flotation tyres
