By utilising best practice planting and management methods we can establish a pollinator plot for very little carbon input. Yet the growing crop produces a large amount of biomass quickly and can be sustained for two years with no chemical or fertiliser inputs (just some hard graft!). By moving the plots around the farm we can use them to add soil health and fertility that then reduces fertiliser use to produce food! It truly is a sustainable model of integrating something fantastic for the environment and continuing to create first class food.
